Paneficio Gallery is a small gallery located in the same building. My space is used for artist get-togethers, open studio events, and art nights. These include the www.firstsaturday.ca event with more than 100 artists who are opening up their studios. Paneficio Studios has a community mandate to help East van artists, and we use our windows to communicate with the public. Since 2015, I have been showcasing different artists in each of my storefront windows. They include everything from mixed media, photography, and assemblage to studio furniture. Arnt, I, and others were involved in creating two other artist buildings in Vancouver in the early 90s. These are still in use by many artists. Franklin Street houses many artists, Franc Gallery as well as White Monkey.
