Rockslide Studio & Gallery aims to make creative spaces and exhibitions accessible for professional artists and emerging ones. This growing independent arts organization was founded in 2013 by Logan Ford & Ian George. It advocates affordable artist studios that can foster a vibrant culture. Rockslide Studio & Gallery offers studio space to over 70 artists, in partnership with five other arts organizations, including the Ministry of Casual Living (MoCL), Supply Victoria (Victoria Tool Library), and Haus of Owl. Rockslide Studio & Gallery also offers an Artist Residency Program. We have interactive studio tours, and our gallery openings are a great way to bring people together from different backgrounds. Rockslide Studio & Gallery, in an ever-precarious market for rental spaces for artists, is a staunch advocate of protecting these workspaces. A vibrant and active local arts community is essential to a healthy, thriving neighborhood. Together with our partners, we are working to solve this problem so Victoria can live up to her reputation as a cultural hub.
