Jeremy Scataglini is my name. In Phoenix, Arizona, I am a licensed couple's counselor and the creator of The H.U.G Therapy Center, which stands for Historically Underrepresented Groups. I intended to build a counseling facility where all couples and people would feel welcomed, accepted, and supported, and where there would be no fear of prejudice. My approach to couple's counseling is founded on the idea that everyone need human connection and attachment. When I initially started working as a therapist, I experimented with practical tools, exercises, and other strategies that didn't appear to produce long-term change in the couples I worked with. As my career progressed, I was introduced to Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), which focuses on the attachment needs of adults.
