Jenny Craig is the first woman in our story. After having her second child, Jenny Craig realized that there were no sustainable ways to achieve her weight loss goals. Working at the local gym in the 1960's was Mrs. Craig. She learned firsthand that exercising alone is not enough to achieve long-term weight loss. After years of passion, her husband Sid Craig died in 1983. She opened her first Jenny Craig Weight Loss Center. After years of experience in the industry, Mrs. Craig used what she had learned from her own journey to develop a holistic approach to weight loss. This included nutritious, portioned food and support by a coach. She also provides the tools and resources to build and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
