Great store. Owner was super nice and helpful. She ordered me a plant (snake plant because I'm new), explained in detail what to do, and told me I can bring it in for any help trimming or any other issues. Great store. My partner is the avid green-thumber, who has the eye for beautiful plants. I surprised him w a visit here...HE LOVES this place! As do I! Pretty good selection of indoor/shade loving plants and very well loved. We were so inspired by the free "communal propagation" section so much that I recommended they add a "free potting plant" section! I plan to donate unused, nice potting plants (free "community potting plant" w purchase of plant...??) We purchased the Dracaena! I hate doing this to a local shop but Plantlush has NEVER managed to convince me to buy one of their plants. Not only are they overpriced, but they look unhealthy with dying wilting leaves, some are dried up completely. African mask Alocasia's usually run mid double digits but they were charging over $100 for the SAME PLANT! I've been here three times hoping to make a plant purchase but their stock is lacking and what is there really does look terrible. Recently in an attempt to support a 'local' place I bought a mister and moss pole. I was charged $40 dollars for a $10 dollar mister and a $3 dollar pole. I found the EXACT same items on amazon. This place is a complete rip off and I really have nothing nice to say other than the staff are nice. Also they sell old used nursery pots for $1.00 each (for 4 inch!) while Leafy near by charges $1.50 for much larger BRAND NEW pots. Don't waste a trip. edit; I received a condescending response about the plants in question, with no mention of how AWFUL their plants look. I know the difference between African mask and dragon's tooth. I was told by staff the $120 dollar plants were indeed African masks so their staff was wrong or they're lying. No mention whatsoever of how terribly kept the quality of plants are in. also I will be patronizing OTHER LOCAL SHOPS not Amazon. I only went to buy more moss poles thinking they were all expensive and they were 12 for $21 not 1 for $25. Scam? Maybe. I’m prefacing this review as a very experienced green thumb. The condition and care of the plants in shop was very concerning. A lot of the plants seemed to be in quite poor condition, most of which seemed to be overwatered. The staff seemed very amateur and seeing these plants left me quite stressed. I would have gladly taken some home to give them proper care but they were wildly expensive for current market prices, like 10 years ago, early-trend market prices. I’m an impulse plant buyer, and it’s the first shop I didn’t walk out of with a plant. I’m prefacing this review as a very experienced green thumb.
