SCCPA was founded in 1965 and consists of registered psychologists, licensed psychological assistants, graduate psychology student, and other mental health professionals. The third-largest of 23 California Psychological Association chapters (CPA), which are state chapters of American Psychological Association, (APA) is our chapter. SCCPA's mission is to advance psychology science and practice; promote ethical and responsible psychology practices; provide education, support, networking and support for psychologists; offer a variety of mental health and educational services to our diverse community.
