CLLARO wants us to prepare for inevitable demographic changes. As the nation's non-Hispanic white population declines, so is its birthrate. The changing face of Colorado can be attributed to interracial marriages, higher immigration, and birth rates for Latinos and other minorities. Today, the largest proportion of the population is made up of minorities in all four US states and the District of Columbia. The United States of America will become a country largely made up of minorities by 2043. CLLARO is dedicated to decreasing inequalities in income, education, and health. CLLARO aims to create equitable opportunities for all Coloradoans, increase productivity and equity in civic institutions and enhance Colorado's quality of life for the future.
