Caravati, Jr., M.D., was born in Richmond and founded Dermatology Associates of Virginia, Inc., in 1969. The first office was located on Hamilton Street, near West End. It soon relocated to Grove Avenue. Dermatology Associates now has twenty-one practitioners in six locations throughout central Virginia. One office is located in Colonial Heights, and the other five are in Richmond. Skin diseases can affect patients of any age. Our physicians and physician assistants offer medical and surgical treatment. We specialize in treating skin conditions and cancers, but we offer many cosmetic treatments. Our highly-trained team treats all skin conditions in a comfortable, attractive and convenient setting. All of our dermatologists have received certification by the American Board of Dermatology. All of our dermatologists are also members of local, national and state medical and dermatological professional societies.
